Professor Brendan Mackey is director of the Climate Action Beacon, Griffith University Australia. He was a coordinating lead author in the IPCC 6th Assessment Report Working Group II Impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation. He has over 300 academic publications in the related fields of climate adpaptation and mitigation, ecosystem dynamics, and science-based policy.
