North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU) was founded in 1951 and now is located in Zhengzhou, jointly supported by Henan Province and the Ministry of Water Resources. NCWU is a key university in Henan Province and has been involved in the “Double First-Class” Initiative for discipline construction and designated as a participant in the “Excellent Engineer Education Program” launched by the Ministry of Education. NCWU’s Engineering Science discipline ranks in the top 1% of ESI and Water Conservancy Engineering ranks No. 7 around China.
